PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT: Pre-College (Grades 9-12)
One River School has developed a unique Portfolio Development Program for motivated teens who are preparing a body of work for college admission. Based on years of research, our program allows teen students to demonstrate an approach to art making that is investigative, ambitious and individualized.
- Experienced educators help students analyze and evaluate their artwork through discussions, critiques and exercises

Students will learn how to use the Adobe Creative Suite and industry standard animation program Moho Pro allowing them to become well-rounded digital artists.

ART FOCUS®: Drawing (Grades 6-12)
Designed for teen students who want to focus on mastering technical skills in the drawing medium. Students will explore the elements and principles of art and design through fun and engaging drawing projects.
- Compelling projects explore figure drawing, portraiture, still life, architecture, landscape and more
- Work with a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, oil / chalk pastel, pen and ink
- Teacher led demonstrations help students master the principles of line, tone, light, texture, composition, spatial depth and perspective

DIGITAL ART FOCUS®: Animation (Grades 6-12)
Aspiring animators can join this class for a journey into animation techniques, character development and storytelling. Students will explore puppet animation, lip syncing, frame-by-frame and tweening as they take their animation skills to the next level. Students must demonstrate experience using Moho Pro or have previously studied in One River School’s core digital program, Digital Art Shuffle.
- Experienced educators will help you master Moho Pro and its many cross program capabilities.
- Compelling projects allow students to create original animations using students' own character designs and assets built in Moho Pro.
- Students enjoy studying amongst other creative animators.

ART FOCUS®: Manga & Cartooning (Grades 6-12)
Students will draw inspiration from the world's best Mangaka, Comic Books and Animation studios to create unique works of art. This class blends Eastern and Western techniques and concepts to develop skills in illustration, character design, and world-building. Students can expect to explore a variety of different media.
- Compelling projects explore the principles of art and design, through Japanese art, Western illustrators & studio animation.
- Teacher-led demonstrations provide students with technical instruction in the use of a variety of materials to build, sculpt and illustrate pieces.
- Discover how to apply Manga & Cartooning concepts to the fine art realm.

Our Signature Digital Class for Kids brings a wide variety of tools, software and digital skills to the classroom. Students will learn the fundamentals of the Adobe Suite and Moho Pro to begin exploring ways to animate, design and paint using the XP Pen Tablet.
